The choice to make on a health care career can be a tough one too make, and even tougher can be choosing the school you will attend. Fortunately for most people living in Georgia, there are schools which aren’t too far from home. If you do have to travel, or don’t have the best transportation, there are fast track RN programs and LPN training programs which can help speed up the process of getting a degree.

Remember that just as in any other state, Nurses are in demand in Georgia. If you do need to take evening classes for nursing, many of the colleges offer this as well since it can be difficult for those with children to go to school during the day. Space is limited on those classes so you will need to make sure you enroll early for the semester.

Quite a few college students who enter the nursing field find that the cost of school for a fellow co-worker who is also paying off school loans, may have not have been as high because of the type of school he or she went to. With that in mind, we compile not only Universities, but local colleges which offer partial credit for nursing school which may save a student money.

Some of the smaller towns such as Anderson, Lawrenceville, Sparta, Tifton, North Decatur, Moultrie, Smyrna, Warner Robbins, Valdosta, Newnan, Mableton, Griffin, Forest Park and a few others will be listed on a future page, or added to this one in the near future.
